What's New

Notice:

Hello fellow Rolling Hills Estates HOA members. Please review the attached legal explanation of the new Arizona rulings governing decision making and transparency. We asked our legal council to provide the explanation as it will protract any decision the board and Architectural Control Committee (ACC) make regarding modifications to your home and landscape. Please review their letter carefully.

Your board has always prided ourselves by making decisions regarding these requests in an expeditious manner. This may no longer be the case as we are forced to issue notice to all community members, invite their input and meet in open forum for each decision regarding these modifications no matter how trivial or minor they may be.

Therefore, in order to meet these new Arizona requirements, we are asking that you provide the ACC at least one month’s notice for all modifications to your property. It is our intention to continue making decisions quickly however these new steps must be taken in order to meet full compliance.

Notice: Please Trim your trees:

Due to the fires, the Oak Creek Canyon has been closed to through traffic for nearly a week and the fire has yet to be contained. The need to trim your trees and cut back weeds and brush has reached a critical level. Your board is asking that you immediately take action to move forward on our previous request. Should you not take care of your property along the roadways of Rolling Hills Estates the board will take the necessary action to remove any overhanging trees or brush, as well as the weeds, and bill you.

We understand that it is summer and a number of owners are out of town. Never the less, this Firewise action is necessary to protect your and your neighbor’s property. Thanks to those who have already addressed this issue.
